Taste Hello, Cupcake! from taste of home!

Halloween is coming and the taste of Home Magazine
invited us out to their test kitchen to stir up some monstrous ideas for the holidays. We had so much fun playing with foam scams, we decided to do everything from them, we created a whole spread of Marshmallow monsters using foam scams and ingredients right out of the pantry to make brilliantly frightening creatures. Just take a look at the big Eyed Marshmallow Monster we created. It has a large Marshmallow with a Junior Mint in mind, and plenty of canned frosting tinted neon green (we use the Duncan Hines creamy Homestyle) with neon food coloring (McCormick). We took the squeeze-release-pull technique from news, Cupcake? create furry fandom frosting uses the texture in a freezer Ziploc bag weight to piping. I love the uncomfortable Nebula, the photographer is used for the photos. Black solid lines are available in cupcake select grocery stores (Reynolds).

When one eye is not enough ... Use mini foam scams and make parties! We used many mini foam scams with orange M and Ms Minis to our Google Eyed Monster. For this one we placed mini Marshmallow eyes at the end of licorice lace and twisted lace to make crazy eyes. We used blue sprinkles neon green frosting increase creep factor.

You can also find a fun twist on our Thanksgiving filled Turkey project from news, Cupcake? in this issue of taste of home. Take a look at the really fun way, we believe you should garnish Turkey in years. See fall issue of taste of home for in your mailbox or pick up on the news. You must meet our whole gang of Marshmallow monsters and get the complete instructions on how to make them.

See videos showing how we made Marshmallow monsters and stuffed Turkey to go to our home page, taste of home. There's even a video that explains how we make a chocolate Haunted House from cupcakes! Click below to watch videos.
Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year, and with these fun cupcake treats we believe that it will be for your family.

All the best.
